At Red Oak Hospice, we focus on proactive, individualized care and improving the patient’s quality of life.
Our goal is to enable patients with a terminal illness to have an alert, pain-free life and to manage symptoms regardless of their ability to pay.
Red Oak Hospice provides the medication, to manage the pain and symptoms related to the primary illness, ensuring your overall comfort. Upon admission, we will create a list of your current medications (including any over-the-counter medications, herbal remedies, and vitamins). We will then compare this list to the medications prescribed by your physicians. Our staff will continue to compare the compiled prescription list to the ongoing and new medications that are ordered and administered or dispensed to you while under our care. This will be done to resolve any discrepancies and ensure symptom management and comfort.
Red Oak Hospice provides the durable medical equipment, and supplies, to manage the pain and symptoms, related to the primary illness, ensuring overall comfort and safety.
